Recommendation Information

Griffin31 displays a list of recommendation and you can zoom into a single recommendation.

The following Information Is Displayed In The Overview Tab:

  • Risk Description - A summary of the identified security risk affecting the system.
  • Corrective Action - Suggested steps or actions to resolve the identified risk and improve security.
  • Compliance State - if the recommendation is compliant or not.
  • Exemption Status - Specifies if the recommendation has been granted an exemption by a user.
  • Product - The specific Microsoft product or service where the recommendation applies
  • Assigment - The individual responsible for addressing the identified risk and implement the corrective action.
  • Risk Level - The severity of the identified risk, categorized as low, Moderate, or high.
  • Estimated Work - The amount of effort, time, or resources needed to resolve the issue.
  • User impact - The potential effect that addressing the issue  will have on end users.
  • Operating system - The OS (e.g., Windows, macOS) where the recommendation is applicable.
  • Scopes - define the areas the recommendation related to, covering Identity, Device, App, Data, and Mailbox.
  • Reference - A link or document that provides additional information or context about the recommendation.
  • Tenant Wide - Indicates whether the recommendation or issue affects the entire Microsoft 365 tenant or just specific areas
  • Stories - if the recommendation is part of a sprint, project or related to a security domain or attack vector.

The requirements Tab includes the following information:

 
  • User Impact Details - specifying whether there will be any disruption or changes for end users.
  • Reference - link directs users to detailed external documentation for further reading.
  • License Requirement - specifying what plan is necessary to implement the recommendation.
  • Related recommendations - displays additional recommendations or stories that are related to the recommendation.

The Remediations Tab includes the following information:

  • Remediation - Step-By-Step guide explaining how to fix the misconfiguration.
  • Notes - Additional information that is important before peforming the change.

The History Tab includes the following information:

  • Complete audit trail of changes - when the recommendation became compliant or non-compliant.
  • Assigment - who assigned the recommendation and to whom, including comments by the assignee.
